The harvest is carried out manually, and performed based on maturity of the grapes. The goal is to wait for the optimal time to harvest in order to reveal the richness of the various unique relationships between Chateau Cabezac’s terroir and its’ grape varieties.
The harvest begins in late August to early September and ends in October, depending on the ripeness of the grapes and weather conditions.
This is a time of great activity and good humour. Visitors are invited to follow progress from a vantage point in the boutique.
